What I found in Buyeo
The first work records the strength found in local young people’s actions and attitudes to life. The motives and efforts of people building the lives they want in a place they love left a strong impression. Interviews also follow newcomers gradually finding friends and relationships without prior ties to the town.
The second work conveys Buyeo’s variety, with the promise of a new discovery in every lane. Trying SUP brought the courage to stand up again after falling, a lesson the filmmaker hoped to carry into everyday life.
